Evansville man arrested for DUI after single vehicle accident. 
On November 26, 2013 at 10:11 a.m Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call about an accident on County Road 50 East in the St. James area. Deputy Roger Ballard arrived on scene to find a Black 2006 Nissan 350 Z nose down in a ditch on the side of the roadway. During the investigation of the accident Deputy Ballard identified the driver as John R. Schuff age 32 of Evansville, Indiana. Deputy Ballard advised that Mr. Schuff had a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage on his person, and swayed unsteadily. During a roadside investigation Deputy Ballard administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests and Portable Breath Test. As a result of those tests Mr. Schuff was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI). Mr. Schuff remains in custody on a $650 bond.
