Deputy Jennifer Trantham of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jeremy Cole Williams, 25, of Silver Creek Church Road in Morganton, with felony breaking and entering.
At 3:29 p.m. Sunday, a motorist traveling on Old Highway 10 East at the intersection of N.C. 126, reported that he saw a man break into and enter an ATM building.
Trantham’s report said she and Deputy Greg Stevenson responded to the area and found Williams sitting in his truck in the parking lot. He and his vehicle fit the description given by the witness who saw the incident.
