Chino Hills deputies involved in officer involved shooting Monday night. Sheriff's Homicide Detail is investigating.

LOCATION: 15000 Block of Tern Street, Chino Hills
SUSPECT: Name withheld pending next of kin notification (White male 47 years old)
VICTIM(S): San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputies
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 18, 2013, at approximately 7:52 p.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Police Department responded to a stabbing call at a residence located in 15000 block of Tern Street. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located a male subject who was armed with knives. The male subject attempted to attack deputies with the knives. Deputies were forced to fire their handguns, striking the subject. The subject was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. None of the deputies were injured during the incident. The case is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Homicide Detail.
