Detective charges Marion man (Raymond Snelson) with multiple sex offenses 
Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Raymond Snelson, 64, of EP Boyd Drive in Marion, with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and five counts of first-degree sex offense.
Brown said the indecent liberties cases stem from incidents that occurred in 2007, when Snelson allegedly molested a 12-year-old girl.
The detective added that the sex offense charges are a result of incidents that occurred between 2008 and 2011, when the suspect allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl.
