LASD Arson/Explosives responded to the 24700 Block of Calle Largo, Calabasas, WWII Hand Grenade Found 
Malibu/Lost Hills Station deputies responded to a call of a found grenade at a residence in Calabasas. The resident said his landscaper was digging in the front yard when the landscaper discovered what appeared to be a hand grenade.
Deputies evacuated several nearby homes and contacted Arson/Explosives Detail detectives.
Detectives responded and recovered an empty MK II grenade body. The grenade body was taken by detectives for disposal.
Residents were able to return their homes approximately two hours after being evacuated.
