Princeton woman arrested for DUI and Trespassing.

On November 7, 2013 at 12:18 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call from a property owner up on Bald Hill lane about an intoxicated female who was up on his property and refused to leave. Sgt. Bruce L. Vanoven and Sgt. Tim Coomer were dispatched to the scene and they began a search of the remote property. While searching a remote part of the property Emily A. Akers age 30 of Princeton was found. Ms. Akers had been driving a Light Tan 2003 Ford Explorer and the vehicle had become high centered. During an investigation of the scene Ms. Akers was identified by the property owner as the person who repeatedly refused to leave his property. Further the property owner advised officers that he had seen Ms. Akers driving on his property.

Ms. Akers was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Trespassing and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. Ms. Akers remains in custody on an $1100 bond.
