On October 31, 2013, at 3:55 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith observed a Green 1996 Ford vehicle on US 41 at a high rate of speed. Upon stopping the vehicle the driver Joey L. Slunder age 36 of Evansville was identified as the driver. During the roadside investigation it was determined that Mr. Slunder was driving with a suspended license while having prior convictions. Mr. Slunder was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended- Prior. Mr. Slunder has since posted a $650 bond.
