Farmersburg Indiana woman tests twice the legal limit during A.M. traffic stop.
On October 25, 2013, at 10:20 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call about a 2004 Tan Ford Explorer traveling Southbound on US Highway 41 from the Knox Gibson line. The Caller reported that the Ford Explorer was all over the roadway and had struck guard rails on US 41. Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to locate the vehicle while the caller followed the Ford Explorer to verify its location. Sgt. Tim Coomer was able to stop the Ford Explorer at US Highway 41 and County Road 100 North. During a roadside investigation the driver was identified as Tami D Freeze age 49 of Farmbersburg, Indiana. Sgt. Coomer administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests on scene and Ms. Freeze was transported to the Gibson County Jail for a certified breath test. Tami D. Freeze was Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and is still in custody on a $750 bond. Ms. Freeze tested .16 on the certified test.
