Advisory

Suspect who was annoying and molesting children around the area of Davis Middle School Is taken into custody.

On October 22, 2013 at 730 a.m. Compton Station patrol deputies received a radio call of a male Hispanic driving an orange Cadillac following a student on her way to school.

The student stated she was walking when the suspect drove next to her and began blowing kisses at her. The suspect then drove around the school and approached her a second time. The suspect began driving next to the student and once again began blowing kisses at her. The student became scared and ran home to tell her mother. The mother and the student returned to the area and spotted the suspect vehicle, the mother obtained a license plate number and provided it to law enforcement.

Compton Station learned of a second incident involving the same suspect in the same area which occurred approximately 30 minutes after the first incident. In the that incident the suspect drove next to the student as she walked to school and told her he wanted to do sexual things to her. The suspect drove down the street, made a U-turn and pulled into a driveway which was directly in front of the student. The suspect’s actions blocked the student’s path of travel at which time the suspect told the student a second time he wanted to do sexual things to her. The student ran to school and reported the incident to her teacher.

Compton Detective Bureau conducted an investigation and took the suspect into custody.
