What is being done at my child’s school in the event of a Violent Intruder? Find out 11/7/2013 @ 7pm at the Fort Recovery Middle School
Fort Recovery, Ohio - What is being done at my child’s school in the event of a Violent Intruder? If that is a question that comes to your mind while watching/reading the news then this presentation is for you. The Fort Recovery Police Department and Fort Recovery Local Schools invite you to an informational presentation about the A.L.I.C.E. training that has been implemented at our schools and is beginning to be implemented at other schools in Mercer County. A.L.I.C.E. stands for Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate and to our knowledge it is the best training to prepare for numerous traumatic events. This type of training is being recommended by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Give us an hour to teach you what your child is being taught. Join us on November 7, 2013 at 7pm in the Fort Recovery Middle School Auditoria for this presentation. A question and answer session with the school’s administrators will immediately follow the presentation. We hope to see you there!
