Composite Sketches Released In Murder Of Mobile Food Vendor

HCSO homicide investigators have released composite sketches of two suspects believed to be responsible for the October 12, 2013 capital murder of a mobile food vendor in norrhwest Harris County.

On Saturday, October 12, 2013, Lorenzo Juan Vasquez, 53, was shot and killed at the taco stand he operated at 8110 Fairbanks N. Houston Rd. in northwest Harris County, Texas.

The suspects tried to rob the victim but got away with no money. Their composite sketches are attached.

Sheriff Adrian Garcia also announced the creation of the HCSO Mobile Food Vendors on Patrol Program.

As part of the program Mobile Food Vendors are encouraged to serve as “eyes and ears” on the streets of Harris County.

Mobile Food Vendors know their areas well, and will likely notice if anything/anyone doesn’t belong.
