As part of a unique collaboration with the City of Los Altos and Passerelle Investment Company, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) will be constructing art exhibits in public areas throughout downtown Los Altos.  One of the planned art exhibitions will be installed on Saturday, October 12^th and Sunday, October 13^th.

This unique art installation will require the intersection at State and Fourth Streets to be closed over the weekend.  Traffic control measures will be in place including detour signs to ensure traffic flows smoothly in and out of the downtown area.  Access to business door entrances and the Parking Plazas will be maintained during the installation period. 

Detour signage and intersection blockades will be removed by Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.  The City chose the installation to take place during the weekend in hopes of reducing impacts to downtown businesses during the busy workweek.
