The Grant County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting testing to build an eligibility list for all future hiring of entry level sheriff’s deputies, entry-level corrections officers and lateral transfer sheriff’s deputies (those already employed by another law enforcement agency).
The testing will be held Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Chief Moses Middle School, 1111 East Nelson Road, Moses Lake. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and testing begins at 8:30 a.m.
The process includes a written test, personality test, physical ability test, and a key skill building test. Once completed, candidates will appear in front of an oral interview board. The process lasts about eight hours, but those participating should allot more time in case there are delays in the testing schedule.
