Sallisaw Police Lt. Arrested for Providing Alcohol to a Minor
This morning, John Marcus Weber (d.o.b. 10/22/1983), a Sallisaw police lieutenant, turned himself into the OSBI at the Sequoyah County Jail. Weber was booked on two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor. Felony counts are for providing hard liquor or high-point beer. The misdemeanor is for providing 3.2 beer.
September 25th, 2013, the Sequoyah County Sheriff requested OSBI open an investigation into an allegation of official misconduct involving Weber. An OSBI agent spent several days collecting information and discovered multiple teenage victims. A warrant for Weber’s arrest was filed Thursday and signed this morning. Weber’s bail was set at $10,000 for which he has made bond.
