Every month, the Sheriff's Department works with the Fugitive Task Force (FTF) and Crime Stoppers to find and arrest people wanted for committing crimes.
For the month of October, we want your help in finding Sean Colin McCrea and Charles Anthony Tooma.
Sean Colin McCrea has a felony arrest warrant for terrorist threats and a misdemeanor warrant for reckless driving while intoxicated.
On August 8, 2013, McCrea made statements about harming his wife in unincorporated El Cajon. McCrea has an affinity for sports and race cars and likes eastern European women; especially from Russia. He has military experience and is believed to have access to weapons. If you see McCrea, do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
We also want anonymous tips on Charles Anthony Tooma. Tooma is wanted for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. In 1999, Tooma assaulted a victim in Fallbrook during a dispute, causing severe injury, and has been on the run ever since. He is also wanted by the FBI on fraud charges. Tooma's last known address was in the Temecula area.
If you see Tooma, do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information about McCrea or Tooma can remain anonymous. You can be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Just call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
