HCSO TO PARTICIPATE IN COUNTY-WIDE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENTS

(HOUSTON, TX) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is gearing up for an informative yet fun-filled National Night Out tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to come out and meet their neighbors, as well as law enforcement officers, to discuss crime prevention and other concerns in their community.

Sheriff Adrian Garcia and HCSO deputies will be attending over 70 neighborhood gatherings throughout Harris County. Among them are:

National Night Out was created to raise awareness about crime, come up with ways to fight crime, and solidify relationships between law enforcement officers and the community.
