Friday, September 27, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department requested OSBI open an investigation into an allegation of official misconduct by a Sallisaw police officer. An OSBI agent has been assigned the case has begun conducting interviews. Once the case is completed, the agent will turn over his findings to the district attorney who will determine if any laws were broken and if charges will be filed.
