Downtown Lancaster will have several street closures and detours due to the City of Lancaster hosting the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix and weekend festival. These closures are immediate and will continue until midnight Sunday September 29. Most businesses located on The BLVD will continue normal operating hours, but should be contacted individually to confirm.
Emergency Services Will Not Be Affected. The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station will continue to provide services as normal and the Station Lobby Services will remain open to the public. However, the Sheriff’s Station Public Parking will not be accessible due to the street closure on Sierra Hwy. Public Parking is available in several marked lots located north and south of The BLVD. The closest authorized parking lot to the Sheriff’s Station will be the Western Hotel parking strip at 557 W. Lancaster Blvd located west of the station. Below are the following closures:

-Sierra Highway will be closed from Jackman Avenue to Milling Street through midnight Sunday Sept. 29.
-Lancaster BLVD will be closed from Yucca Avenue to Fern Avenue through 6:00 a.m. Saturday Sept 28.
-Lancaster BLVD will be closed from Yucca Avenue to Genoa Avenue from 6:00 a.m. Saturday Sept 28 through midnight Sunday Sept 29.
