Christopher Michael Guffey charged with stealing Nebo woman's car 
Detective Paul Alkire of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Christopher Michael Guffey, 31, of Tice Drive in Marion, with felony larceny of a motor vehicle. He was taken into custody in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
Alkire said, on Aug. 28, Guffey allegedly stole a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck from Eunice Grainger, of Tater Tot Drive in Nebo.
The truck, valued at $2,000, was recovered the same day by Marion police officers.
