Traffic stop leads officers to 4 grams of methamphetamine 
Detective Lt. Chris Taylor of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Christopher Todd Burnette, 34, of Swannanoa, with felony possession of methamphetamine. He was released from custody on a written promise to appear in court.
On Sept. 18, troopers with the N.C. Highway Patrol stopped Burnette’s motorcycle on Sugar Hill Road for an expired plate, no operator’s license and no inspection.
Taylor said officers found 4 grams of methamphetamine on the suspect.
