The Ashland Police Department would like to notify the community of street closings due to a special event being conducted on Saturday, September 21, 2013. If you plan on travelling between 8:15 am and 9:45 am Saturday morning expect some minor delays in the following areas -
Maple Street in the area of Carter Park
Slash Cottage subdivision
Myrtle Street, Arlington Street, Virginia Street and East
Francis Street
Ashland officers and volunteers will be on scene to assist during the event. Any delays you experience should be very temporary. Officers will be monitoring traffic as runners pass through areas and opening roadways as quickly and safely as possible.
