Is your child properly restrained in his or her car seat?

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Car accidents are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13 years old in the United States. The best way to protect them in the car is to put them in the right seat, at the right time, and use it the right way.

Safety Belt Safe USA is offering a FREE Safety Seat Checkup. This event will take place on Saturday September 21^st from 10a.m. to 2pm. at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, 1000 W Carson St Torrance, Ca 90502. The entrance for the Safety Seat check is at 220^th and Meyler streets, then proceed west on south Drive to the parking lot for the Professional Building on the corner of 220^th St and Normandie Ave.

**For an appointment please call 310-222-6860. If you do not have an appointment, there may be a long wait and you may be turned away**

More than 90% of safety seats checked at these events are being used incorrectly. You can also drop off unusable safety seats at the event for recycling.
