This is an advisory from the Saddle River Police Department. The purpose of this message is to notify our residents about recent burglaries to occupied and unoccupied homes. These actors have been targeting homes in affluent neighborhoods looking to commit residential burglaries and steal cash, jewelry and valuables. Please remove jewelry and valuables from the master bedroom, master bathroom and their closets. Remove safes from the master bedroom and their closets as well. If you have an alarm system, use it. Lock all your doors and windows.

Please report any suspicious activity immediately to the police desk.
