Search for Work Release Inmate Jovan Prince in Sioux Falls
Department of Corrections staff and law enforcement are searching for a state prison inmate who failed to return to a work release center in Sioux Falls earlier today.
Jovan Prince, age 33, failed to return to the Minnehaha County Correction Center in Sioux Falls this morning following her shift at her work release job. The state contracts with MCC to house female inmates on work release status in Sioux Falls.
Prince is a Native American female, 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Prince is currently serving a 5-year sentence for Forgery out of Pennington County. She was also sentenced to 2 years for DWI 4th offense out of Hughes County. That sentence is scheduled to begin in April 2015.
