Arcadia High School has been searched and cleared after a male called stating he had a gun on campus earlier today. Students were placed in lockdown while officers conducted the search.
It is our beleif the incident is related to other similar calls to adjacent jurisdictions this week. The Arcadia Police Department is conducting a collaborative investigation with allied agencies and the FBI.
Students were initially released and escorted by bus to the Arcadia County Park. All remaining students are being released and will walk to the County Park escorted by police officers.
