RANSOMWARE:

Recently, cyber-criminals have begun to use the names and logos of a number of law enforcement agencies, including the Department of Justice and FBI to ransom money from unwitting computer users. The subjects use Malware to take over a victim’s computer, preventing any use. The screen displays a message, supposedly from a law enforcement agency, stating the user has been taking part in some illegal activity. The victim is instructed to send money via a Moneypak card to avoid prosecution. This is a scam. DO NOT PAY THE RANSOM (money) and take your computer to a computer professional to get the Malware removed.
