A planned road closure along E. Saddle River Rd. at Ackerman Rd. will occur on Sept. 9 & 10 from 8 AM to 4 PM. Details @ 
A planned road closure along East Saddle River Road at Ackerman Road will occur on September 9th and 10th due to a required repair of a partially deteriorated culvert as part of the drainage improvements along Ackerman Road and East Saddle River Road.
The current work will be within the East Saddle River Road Right of Way and has been authorized by the County of Bergen.
East Saddle River Road will be closed to through traffic from East Allendale Road to Upper Cross Road and a detour will be provided. Signs advising that COLONIAL SHOPPING PLAZA IS OPEN will be placed to notify customers. The primary road closure will be placed North of the Shopping Plaza to allow easy access.
The road closure will occur at approximately 8 AM and will allow ALL school bus traffic full access (no school buses will be detoured in the morning or afternoon). At approximately 4 PM the road will be fully opened for all through traffic. Local roads will be fully accessible, all residents living along E.S.R. RD and adjacent side streets, South of Ackerman Road will be able to drive in a southerly direction. All properties North of Ackerman Road will need to utilize the detour at Upper Cross Road.
Uniform traffic control officers will be present to assist with the operations.
