Detective Paul Alkire of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for Jeffery Daniel Waycaster, 30, of Triple J Park in Marion.
He is wanted for common law robbery, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering, assault inflicting serious injury and safecracking.
On June 27, Jimmy Parker, of Owl Hollow Road in Marion, reported that a man, later identified as Waycaster, came into his house at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Alkire said Waycaster allegedly assaulted Parker, threatened him and stole a locker safe containing cash.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Waycaster is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). With Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
