Roscoe Police Department Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 1, 2013
On September 1, 2013 at approximately 3:15 a.m. Roscoe Police responded to a shots fired call in the 5200 block of Glen Drive.
Officers who were nearby stopped a vehicle they witnessed leaving the scene of the call, one suspect fled from the vehicle and was later apprehended. A weapon was recovered near the scene. Several surrounding agencies assisted in the call. The occupants of the vehicle were questioned and two suspects were arrested on the following charges:
Michael D. Jones,18 years of age of Rockford-Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer.
Jalen M. White , 19 years of age of Rockford-Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of Cannabis.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
