Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Deputies & LACo Firefighters Work Together to Save a Life



At 6:25PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, Deputies from Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and personnel from Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 2300 block of Laguna Circle, unincorporated Agoura, to assist an 83 year-old male who was not breathing.

Upon arrival, Deputy Michael Cerveny and Firefighter Dana McLorn entered the house and immediately began CPR on the patient.

Los Angeles County Fire Paramedics Tim Dixon and Keith Carlson arrived and began advanced life support measures, while Deputy Cerveny and Firefighter McLorn continued CPR. As emergency measures continued the patient began to breathe on his own.

The patient was transported to a local hospital and is listed in an unknown condition at this time.
