UPDATE: The smoke appears to have been caused by a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. No injuries or illnesses reported and classes have resumed. Buses are running normally and normal student pick-up procedures should be followed at the normal times.

The Channahon Fire Protection Dist. and Channahon Police Dept. responded to the Three Rivers School on Ford Rd. for a report of smoke in the building. All students and staff were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. All classes have resumed. All buses are on time. For those students not using the bus, regular pick-up times should be followed.
