Accepting applications until August 30, 2013 for volunteers interested in being our eyes and ears out on Patrol!
The most effective law enforcement efforts are collaborative partnerships between police and community members. Our volunteers perform a wide variety of duties throughout the department, enabling our paid personnel to concentrate on specialized tasks and better manage their workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Live or work in the City of Newark
• 18 years and older
• Ability to pass a background check; level determined by task assigned
• Commitment to work a minimum of 10 hours per month
