OSBI agents continue searching for a Hugo man wanted for a double homicide earlier this month. Dawaylon “Hog” Rainey, 33, shot and killed two men visiting a friend at a Hugo apartment complex. Witnesses tell investigators Rainey came through the front door and began shooting at the victims. Twenty-three-year-old Floyd Devin Clegg was dead at the scene. Qualin Hayden, 19, was transported to Choctaw Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Approximately a half hour prior to the shooting, a surveillance camera at the EZ Mart located at 502 West Jackson captured video of Rainey entering the store. This video puts him near the area where the shooting took place.

OSBI is offering up to a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Rainey on two counts of murder in the first degree. If anyone has information as to his whereabouts, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017. Rainey is still believed to be in the Hugo area; however, he does have ties to Texas.
