On Saturday, February 9, 2013, at approximately 4:30 in the morning, a 20-year-old man was riding his skateboard when he was struck by a hit and run driver at the intersection of Studebaker Road and Foster Road, in the city of Norwalk. A passerby rendered assistance, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff's Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle, a 2003–2007, dark metallic blue, Nissan Titan which may have had damage to the left, front, driver’s side headlight near the time of this incident.

The investigation is ongoing and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Norwalk Station Traffic Investigation Unit, is seeking information leading to the identification of the suspect and/or the suspect vehicle.
