This morning members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force from the Sapulpa Police Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested Philip Wyble (dob: 07/23/1985) at his residence, 9925 West 91st Street South, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The case was initiated by an OSBI agent into the sharing of child pornography on the Internet. Wyble distributed several child pornographic images to the OSBI agent on two occasions. Earlier this morning, task force members from the Sapulpa Police and the OSBI ICAC and Computer Crimes Unit served a search warrant at Wyble’s residence. An on-scene preview of computer devices identified enough probable cause to place Wyble under arrest. The computer equipment will be sent to the OSBI Computer Crimes Lab for further examination. The investigation will continue to determine if any local children are in any pornographic images. Wyble was booked into the Creek County Jail on one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act and two counts of distribution of child pornography.
