Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Arrests OKC Man
Today an Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member from the Guthrie Police Department arrested Benjamin Lee Hudson (d.o.b. 06/25/1976) at his residence, 2314 SW 20th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The case was initiated by the Guthrie Police ICAC task force member into the sharing of child pornography on the Internet. Hudson distributed several child pornographic images to the Guthrie detective on one occasion. This morning, Oklahoma ICAC Task Force members from Guthrie Police, Edmond Police, Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and the OSBI ICAC and Computer Crimes Units served a search warrant at Hudson’s residence. An on-scene preview of computer-related items revealed the finding of images of child pornography on five devices. The computer devices will be sent to the OSBI Computer Crimes Lab for further examination. The investigation continues to determine if any local children are victims.
Hudson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, one count of distribution of child pornography, and five counts of possession of child pornography. Bond is set at $62,000.
