OSBI Offers Reward in Hugo Homicide Case
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering up to a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Dawaylon “Hog” Rainey. Rainey shot and killed two people August 4th inside a Hugo apartment complex.
Witnesses inside the apartment tell investigators Rainey walked into the apartment and began firing shots. Floyd Devin Clegg and Qualin Hayden were rushed to an area hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
U.S. Marshals agents, Hugo police officers, and OSBI agents have been searching for Rainey since August 5th – the day after the homicides. If you have any information about Rainey’s location, call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017 or the Hugo Police Department. Rainey also has ties to Texas.
