National Night Out 4pm to 9pm tonight @ 7 Acres Park (Kamm Ave) 
Tonight from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at 7 Acres Park located at Kamm Ave & Whitehead Ave - Residents and merchants are being encouraged to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and join the entire community in standing together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. This event is sponsored by the South River Municipal Alliance and the South River Police Department and showcases the vital importance of police community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight to build a safer South River.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit, build police community partnerships and to send a message to criminals letting them know that our neighborhoods are organized and prepared to fight back against crime!
- Rides and attractions include: Mechanical Bull, Turbo Tube Rides, Trackless Train & More!
- Attractions include: Music, Dunk Tank, Vappo the Clown, Petting Zoo & Pony Rides!
- Food items available include: Hot Dogs, Burgers, Sausage, Ice Cream & More!
- A visit from the New Jersey State Police Northstar helicopter as well as a blood drive will also be featured. The South River Fire Department and South River Rescue squad will also be present as well as many other businesses and groups from the community.
Admission to the event is FREE and ride bracelets are $10 at the event.
