National Night Out 
National Night Out will be held this year on August 6, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m at the Life Church located at 5910 Elevator Road Roscoe, Illinois.
National Night Out is a great way for neighbors to meet each year and renew support for their local crime watch. Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, the Village of Roscoe hosts a community gathering at the Life Church. Several area businesses along with the Life Church, the Village of Roscoe, Roscoe Police Department, and the Harlem-Roscoe and Rockton Fire Departments make this night fun and informative for the entire family.
•This year we will have hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and ice cream.
•Police Cars and Fire Trucks on display. The Fire departments will be having an autoextrication.
•Face painting, games, car show, and a band.
•Raffle drawing of two new bicycles.
* Prescription drug medication-drop off (no syringes or liquid medication will be taken)
You will also have the opportunity to meet the Village President, Village Officials, and representatives from the Police and Fire Departments.
