On Tuesday August 6th 2013, the Crystal Lake Police Department will be hosting National Night Out, a nationwide event providing an opportunity for the community and local law enforcement to come together to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.
This year’s National Night Out event will take place at the Three Oaks Recreational Area, located at 5517 Northwest Highway, Crystal Lake. The event will start at 5PM and go to 8PM; admission is free to Crystal Lake residents. Planned activities include: Free Facepainting, Police and Fire/Rescue Vehicles on display, a Police Canine demonstration at 5:30pm, Crystal Lake Police Department’s Emergency Services Team display, IL/WI Search and Rescue canine demonstration, Glowby the Bubbler and kids games.
Onsite food vendor Culver’s will be offering a special meal deal, Hamburger or Cheeseburger with Fries, Drink and a cup of Custard for only $2.50!
