The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station’s Target Oriented Policing Team/ Lancaster Community Oriented Response and Enforcement Team (TOP/CORE) headed by Sergeant Marder, conducted an anti-theft operation on July 30, 2013, at the Walmart located at 44665 Valley Central Way, Lancaster.

The operation was part of Lancaster Station’s on-going efforts to reduce the number of overall crimes that occur in and around the city’s large retail outlets.

Six deputies and one sergeant were involved in the operation which resulted in the arrests of thirteen suspects (10 felonies, 3 misdemeanors) and the recovery of over $1000.00 in property. Charges range from drinking in public to robbery.
