Oakland Police Department Homicide Investigators have released the following photos of four women who were photographed by the victim of a homicide at a Halloween party in 2011 before his death.
On November 1, 2011, at 2:45 AM, 32-year-old Darian Stone of Fremont was shot to death in the 500 block of El Paseo Drive during a Halloween party. Investigators believe Stone came to Oakland the night before to celebrate Halloween and met the women in a downtown club.
Investigators believe the four women may have been present at the time of the shooting, but left before officers arrived. We have attempted to identify the women and have been unsuccessful. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these women.
Stone was a father of three children, and Army reservist as well as a security guard.
Oakland Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
