FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Armed Robbery at 922 Industrial Ave. in Chula Vista

Shortly after midnight on 7/17/13 an armed robbery occurred at 922 Industrial Ave, Chula Vista. The details are as follows: Three (3) individuals entered a closed business through an open door. One (1) of the suspects was armed with a handgun and 2 were armed with stick/club type weapons. The suspects robbed the sole employee who was in the business working at the time. During the robbery, the suspect with the gun discharged the firearm within the business. There were no injuries to the victim. One of the items stolen was the victim’s vehicle, a white 2003 Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck bearing California license plate# 7F37251 which had a black colored utility rack on the back.

The suspects are described as follows:

Black male adult, 18-19 years old, 6-0, 190 pounds, with a scruffy beard, scruffy hair, wearing a black or grey tank top and shorts, and was armed with a club/stick type weapon.

Black male adult, 18-19 years old, 5-8, 145 pounds, appearing thin, wearing plaid shirt, blue jacket, blue jeans, and plaid shoes, and was armed with a club/stick type weapon.

Hispanic Male, 17-19 years old, 5-9, 180 pounds, appearing heavy, wearing a black “hoodie” type sweatshirt, black beanie type cap, dark pants, possibly having a mustache, and possibly having facial jewelry such as piercings, and was armed with a gun.
