Yesterday, Chief Sean Whent and Assistant Chief Paul Figueroa rode their patrol bicycles in East Oakland on International Boulevard from 82nd Avenue to 105th Avenue, meeting and interacting with community members along the way.
Chief Whent and his team believe in strong interaction and relationship building with the community. The ride is just one of many ways that the Department is reaching out to the community to listen and learn from those we serve.
