Illinois Special Olympics "Tip A Cop" at Culver's, 13240 Rt. 47, Saturday, July 13 from 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
On Saturday, July 13, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Culver’s of Huntley, 13240 Rt 47, members of the Huntley Police Department will serve as waiters in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Illinois Special Olympics. For the tenth year in a row Culver’s will host “Tip a Cop” in order to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Illinois.
During “Tip a Cop” members of the Huntley Police Department and Special Olympic Athletes will serve as waiters and receive donations for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise (hat, shirts and pins) will also be available during this event.
Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization providing year-round sports training and competition in 19 sports for more than 23,000 Athletes with intellectual disabilities and nearly 13,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities.
