The Cedar Grove Police Department will be hosting a Bicycle Safety Event this Saturday, June 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Cedar Grove High School main parking lot. The event is geared for children from Kindergarten thru 8th. Grade. Cedar Grove Police Officers will be on hand to inspect bicycles and bicycle helmets for safety. We will be providing a limited number of bicycle helmets free of charge to children who need them. In addition, there will be a road course set up to have children ride through and learn some of the basic rules of the road for bicyclists. Hope to see you there.
