Car burglaries in Rumson. High end vehicle thefts in local municipalities 
Rumson has had sporadic car burglaries in recent weeks. There has also been an uptick in stolen high end motor vehicles in Monmouth County, including some local municipalities.
Help protect your property and stop these preventable crimes by following these simple steps:
1. Keep vehicles (and homes!) locked at ALL times.
2. Keep valuables out of your vehicles ie. purses, laptops, Ipod's.
3. NEVER keep a spare or primary key to your vehicle in it, particularly with it unlocked.
Note any suspicious persons or vehicles and contact Rumson Police immediately at (732)842-0500 or dial 911 in an emergency. Anyone who may have information relating to these or other crimes, please contact Rumson Police/Detective Isherwood.
