Prince George County Storm Related Information

All 911 calls are being re-routed to the Hopewell 911 Center. If you have an emergency, the Hopewell Dispatchers will relay the call to Prince George Police Officers. We are working to restore the 911 lines as soon as possible.

Several traffic signals in the area are inoperable. Approach with caution and treat as a 4-way STOP.

JEJ Moore, located at 11455 Prince George Dr., will be operating as a “shower and power” facility during the hours of Noon – 7PM. Please bring your own shower supplies and electronics chargers.

Prince George Residents can dispose of storm debris free of charge at the Convenience Center located at 3100 Union Branch Rd. during the hours of 7AM – 6PM through close of business on Sunday, June 30th.

Water stations will be available at the following locations:
Police Dept. parking lot located at 6600 Courthouse Rd.
Bank of McKenney located at the intersection of Owens Way and Jefferson Park Rd.
Old Pumpkins Restaurant parking lot located on South Crater Rd. near I95 exit.

Ice will be distributed for medical use only. Citizens are requested to bring either their prescription or an empty prescription bottle to support their need for the ice. Distribution sites:
Prince George County Fire Department located at 6500 Courthouse Road
Disputanta Fire Department located at 10000 County Drive
Jefferson Park Fire Department located at 4225 Jefferson Park Road
Prince George County Emergency Crew located at 10800 Prince George Drive
Burrowsville Fire Department located at 17300 James River Drive
Carson Fire Department Main Station located at 20015 Halifax Rd
Carson Fire Department Substation located at 11300 South Crater Rd.

The distribution sites will be open from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM until further notice.

Deadline is Monday, June 17. Anything dropped off at the external County collection box will be processed on Monday.

Parks and Recreation Center (the old North Elementary) is open and operating as a normal recreation center, Citizens are also able to use the facility as an electronic charging station.
