The Compton Special Assignment Summer Enforcement Team conducts Due Diligence Warrant Service Operation in the city of Compton. On June 12, 2013, The team contacted a male who had a warrant for his arrest, at his residence. After detaining the male, it was discovered he was on probation with search conditions. A search of his residence revealed a firearm hidden in his bedroom. The male is currently on probation for possession of narcotics and a firearm, a felony conviction. The male was arrested for illegally possessing a firearm.
