OSBI Assists with Boise City Homicide

A Woods County man was shot and killed just outside a Boise City convenience store this afternoon. Seventy-one-year-old Charles Nieman, of Alva, was shot after he got out of his truck. Nieman’s wife was inside the vehicle parked in front of the Loaf ‘n Jug on the corner of East Main and Locust. The Boise City Police Department received a 911 call just after 1 p.m. reporting the shooting. Nieman was transported to the Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City where he died a short time later.

The Boise City police chief requested OSBI assistance with the homicide case. Agents and officers are working numerous leads.
